Safer Internet Day 2020: What does my avatar say about me?

This short film for use with young people aged between 5 and 11 looks at a range of children creating avatars online and discussing the choices they make about how they represent themselves.

Do you use avatars online?
How can avatars be used to keep us safe online?’
How can avatars help us express who we are?
what would your avatar look like?

Safer Internet Day 2019: Your Choice or Mine - film for parents and carers

We put young people and their parents head-to-head in a game show and asked them questions about consent online. We wanted to find out if parents and their children have the same or differing opinions on a range of online consent topics.

Start conversations at home with some more "Your Choice or Mine" questions:

…send a link to a friend of something controversial online?
…wish someone ‘happy birthday’ online?
