Stone Age Visit to Brackenhurst

On Thursday 10th October, we visited Brackenhurst for a fantastic day of Stone Age fun and outdoor learning.  We had a fabulous time and Simon, the site leader, was overwhelmed by the amazing effort all our children and families had gone to to come dressed up, ready for a day of enhanced Stone Age learning.  Our learning was enriched by the activities in the forest, where we took a journey back in time through the ages then enjoyed cave painting, willow weaving, medallion making, clay spearhead crafting and orienteering.  We were so impressed by the children's attitude and engagement and thank all families and supporting adults for making the day such a wonderful success! See below for some snapshots from the day! :-)
