Year 5
Weekly Tasks:
Homework will be set on a Friday and should be handed in on the following Friday. Homework will consist of:
- Spellings- words following a pattern to learn based on the weekly spellings in class.
- Maths- arithmetic questions focusing on time table knowledge
- Maths – focused practice on topics covered in class covering the four calculation methods and fractions, decimals and percentages.
- Reading- Read daily and sign reading diary by an adult.
- Reading Comp Activity every 2 weeks.
Children can read independently but their reading diary needs to be signed by an adult with a minimum of 3 reads per week.
